A small rectangular weight with a soft cover and firmly packed lead filling, designed to provide stable, even pressure during conservation treatments. Particularly useful for weighting paper repairs while adhesive or paste dries, helping to achieve a smooth, secure repair.

The lead shot is sealed within a polyethylene bag and protected by a firm cotton inner lining. The separate removable cover is made from soft polyester, providing a gentle contact surface for collection materials.
