The Cross Bar forms the structural foundation of the conservation support system, providing the framework onto which the foam profile is fitted.
Made from 9.5mm aluminium rod, the cross bar can be cut to the required length and carefully bent to suit the width and shape of the garment. Once positioned, it is secured using the central locking grub screw.
The strong, lightweight aluminium construction provides reliable support while allowing the system to be customised to suit individual garments and mounting requirements.
