Snake Weight

Long, flexible lead-filled weights designed to hold book pages open during examination, conservation, and handling, helping to minimise unnecessary contact with the pages.

The weights consist of a strung lead core with removable end tags and a washable outer cover. Their flexible design allows them to conform gently to the shape of the book and remain securely in place without rigid pressure.

Please note: A Snake Cover Tool is recommended when removing or replacing the cover. Sold separately.
