Five-layer activated carbon filter inserts designed for use with compatible reusable cloth masks.

PM2.5 refers to fine particulate matter measuring 2.5 microns or smaller. These filters were originally developed for use in environments where protection from airborne particulate pollution was required.

The multi-layer construction includes an activated carbon layer designed to assist with filtering airborne particles when used correctly with a compatible, well-fitted mask.

Filter performance decreases as the filter becomes loaded with particulate matter. For this reason, filters should be replaced regularly. Replace after approximately 16–24 hours of cumulative use, or sooner if the filter becomes damaged, soiled, damp or difficult to breathe through.

Important: These filter inserts are not a substitute for a properly certified respirator or other respiratory protective equipment where a higher level of protection is required. Always select PPE appropriate to the identified hazard and follow relevant workplace health and safety procedures.
