Triptych is committed to promoting the conservation and preservation of heritage collections in New Zealand. As part of this commitment we have been providing training courses, workshops and exercises since 2001. We have three standard courses and can also tailor training and presentations to suit your needs. Click on course below. See quick course calendar.
( New workshop announced May 2018 - practical one day workshop exploring conservation adhesives and techniques... 4. Stick It? - Paste It! )
During our courses we use a varied learning approach mixing experiential and theoretical activities such as: demonstrations, practising techniques, visual presentations, detailed examinations, group discussions and exercises, realistic examples and samples, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions and to learn from others' experience and ideas. Course notes are provided for each course.
